beginning, intermediate and advanced classes
Come to an informal, relaxed and inspiring weekly class where you can be mentored in a group setting to develop your skills as a jeweler. Learn to use multiple tools, the art of working with metals, setting stones and creating custom works of art. $75 per class (3 hours) Contact Emily to schedule.
intro to metalsmithing/jewelry
This four hour entry level class will cover a wide range of fundamental jewelry making techniques for developing a solid foundation for future projects. $125.00 per person - materials are included except silver. Contact Emily to schedule.
Intro to Blacksmithing and Forging (coming fall 2021)
One day workshop – the correct usage of the forge and tongs, learn to shape metal by drawing out, upsetting and paining. We will work with square and round 1/4″ – 1/2″ steel rod. $125.00 – materials for one project are included.
Intro to MIG Welding and Plasma Cutting (coming fall 2021)
One day workshop – learn to use MIG welder, grinder, plasma cutter and other power tools. $125 – materials for one project are included. This 5 hour welding class emphasizes having fun and making something you can take home the day of class! What would you like to work on, maybe some garden art? a sign? frame?
